CLOSE THE HALLIBURTON LOOPHOLE!

In 2005, behind closed doors, Dick Cheney, former CEO of Halliburton, exempted the Gas and Oil Industries from the Clean Air and Clean Water Act. Clean air and clean water is a basic human right which no one has the right to take away from another. This action was knowingly carried out in order to create the unregulated situation we are in today, where these industries are free to poison our air and inject toxic chemicals into the earth through Hydro Fracking and other extraction techniques. If it cannot be done safely, it cannot be done at all. 

That's why I created a petition to The New York State House, The New York State Senate, Governor Andrew Cuomo, The United States House of Representatives, The United States Senate and President Barack Obama, which says:

"Close The Halliburton Loophole. Give the people of the United States back their basic right to Clean Air and Clean Water."
